The Artist's Soul

I was blessed to reconnect with an old friend that I respected deeply and always enjoyed. This friend was a very successful fine artist and the reconnection with this friend also helped me to reconnect with an inner passion I have always had. I love creativity and being creative, I love marketing and sharing ideas with others, I love coming up with ways to present ideas in unique ways, I love the aesthetics and beauty of art and nature. I teach math and find math to be a beautiful interaction of numbers and patterns. In a sense what draws me to art, to nature, and to math is the symmetry, the balance, the beauty that draws me into a sense of oneness with the world, deep within my soul. I believe as we find that safe beautiful place in the world, be it in our own inner soul, in the beauty that surrounds us, in the dance of life, we reconnect with our creator and appreciate the vastness of this amazing life journey.

In my search for knowledge, my thirst for understanding, my passion for reconnecting old and new, known and unknown, ideas and people I have been blessed with learning to understand better the artist's soul, which in turn has helped me to better understand my true creative nature.

As I look around, redefining myself and my life goals, I am amazed how the circumstances and people that have crossed my path have all added to the artist's soul within me. Teaching at a private school with a public purpose and the most amazing arts program I could have imagined, to a public school which is a magnet school for the arts, to a trip abroad to learn about art first hand, and how light dances, jumps, intertwines itself in every aspect of our lives, to meeting and becoming friends with truly amazing and talented artists, I have been blessed.
